In addition to our professional installation resources, we include a membership to our home support program, The SafeHome Advantage™, that reviews danger zones and opportunities to further protect your mobility in the home. Membership also includes discounts on community resources, basic home maintenance, and the confidence that comes with having a friend look in from time to time.
Step 1
The SafeHome Audit™
We visit with you to discuss your mobility needs, personal goals and home upgrade project ideas. We provide a complete outline of our services, support and unique offerings. We encourage you to include a family member of home care specialist in the attendance for this meeting.

Step 2
The SafeHome Install™
First, we arrive exactly on time, ready to install your home and safety mobility upgrades. We begin by properly protecting floors and any other furnishings. We then install, test, and adjust equipment, and finally demonstrate and train you on it to protect your confidence. In two business days we follow up to answer questions and ensure your satisfaction, and then return in six (6) months and twelve (12) months to make sure that everything is running smoothly for your stairlift.
What you receive:
- A meticulous and efficient installation
- Thorough clean up and trash removal
- A device demonstration and training
- Follow up phone call at two (2) weeks and follow up appointments at six (6) months and twelve (12) months
Step 3
The SafeHome Advantage™
This program protects our clients’ safety and mobility year round. Every four months, our technicians will make a house call to review your equipment and also to conduct a home safety audit. We look at everything from loose handles in the bathroom to faulty light switches in the kitchen. We also include discounted access to a community of resources specializing in the needs of our members.
What you receive:
- A home safety audit each trimester (every four months)
- Ongoing support of any installed equipment by Home Healthsmith™
- Discounts to community services appropriate for our members
- Unique educational resources through our Home Healthsmith Newsletter.
