Billy Gazerro, service technician provided the best efficient, professional service I have experienced in a long time. His task was to mount shower bars which was accomplished to our satisfaction. His friendly manner added to making it a job well done.
Please let everyone know that the elevator has already made a marked difference in our ability to enjoy our home as we advance in age. Being able to move items from the basement to the top floor and anywhere in between has been a blessing. Plus it made recovery from surgery ever so much easier. First off, your elevator installers worked at my house a couple of days this week and are returning on Tuesday to finish up on the installation of the elevator. They are really terrific. I can’t believe how hard they work, and how well they communicate with each other. In fact, my contractor, PJ commented on the installers’ work ethic. I am totally impressed with the quality of workers you hire from the office folks to the installers, so I was so pleased to be asked to recommend Home Healthsmith to the potential Boston clients. I am writing to tell you both including your office staff and installation crews a most sincere thank you for a job well done.
Bill took the time to visit me in the exploration process. He listened to my concerns and came up with a solution to provide a lift to take us up 10 feet to our raised home entrance. The project met all the requirements for elevator inspection with the Massachusetts elevator inspectors office. The project has been given a permit for use by the State of Massachusetts.
Linda as project manager provided all the technical documentation for the State regulations. Her associates kept me and my general contractor well informed every step of the way during construction and testing.
I am most thankful and impressed by the way Bill worked with the general contractor, the electrical subcontractor and others to provide for a great installation. All events were well planned and engineered to make the project a success.
It was a large, exciting, project for me to undertake. I am most grateful to the people at Homehealthsmith for their work, attention to detail and follow through on the project.

For those who have served as a Primary Caregiver working to safely sustain and support an aging parent in the community it is important to forecast what is coming, and know who to contact to plan accordingly. As a primary caregiver for a parent, I want to share that by making one phone call to Home Healthsmith it started the process and resulted in my parents being able to remain in the community instead of a facility. The biggest takeaway for me was that I felt supported by a team of industry experts. In my heart I know that I did all I could for my mom, for as long as I could. Home Healthsmith helped me to do it safely, and we did not experience a crisis.

My husband no longer has to be housebound and has the freedom of going places. He enjoys the comfort of using it. Both my wife Brenda and I are ecstatic with the job Mike and his helper did with the ceiling lift in our bedroom! They both had their work cut out for them because the joists in the ceiling were running in all kinds of directions. They drilled holes in the ceiling to find them and after some time, they found what they were looking for. I thought it was going to take all day for the installation. But it took them approximately 4 hours to complete the total installation from start to finish. They were very professional in their work. They came, they saw, they conquered!! Residential Elevator Installation:
My wife and I contacted Bill after spending two years sleeping in the downstairs guest bedroom. My wife had serious issues with her knee and simply could not handle the stairs to our bedroom on the second floor. The views from our upstairs bedroom are spectacular! My wife’s knee injury took all of that away. At first, installing an elevator seemed like a no-brainer until we started looking at what was involved and what all of the issues were. It was daunting to say the least. My wife is a designer. She has a “designer’s eye”. Simply sticking an elevator somewhere in the house was not going to cut it. Bill was on board from the beginning. He understood the architectural design issues as well as the practical/technical issues. He listened to all of our concerns and responded with solutions that only come from years of experience. Bill was especially helpful in implementing our design for a window, installed on the inside of the elevator cab. This would ultimately line up with exterior windows on both floors. This is not your typical elevator! The elevator has been operational now for several months and we love it! It has brought our life back! Bill has been diligent in his following up with all of the little details which are a part of a major installation. We could not be happier or more pleased with our experience. Elevator Repair:
I met Bill in 2013 when he was recommended for repair service of my home elevator. The elevator had apparently been installed incorrectly in 2007 and was not routinely serviced. The group hired to do the needed repairs in 2013 only rendered further damage to the machine. I contacted Bill at Home Healthsmith and he and his team were able to rectify all of the issues in a timely manner.
He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, organized and kept me involved in the process and gave me constructive advice. Regular Elevator Maintenance is now in place.
Bill has developed a business with an efficient, friendly staff that I would recommend to all!
